And now we rise, and we are everywhere

There've been very few exciting things to happen over the past month other than Bombay Bicycle Club, really. On the bright side, that was absolutely amazing. Going alone ended up being a really good thing: I made a couple of friends in the queue and inside the venue, and on the Metro back talked to some people too. They were all awesome.

Tadah. My birthday also rolled around, and with it came a good meal at T.G.I Friday and some pretty cool presents. I got a load of books, quite a bit of money, and an Annual Birthday Fiesta Kit from my friend, Amy. It included a twin packet of Party Rings and the album The Dance by Fleetwood Mac. That's all you need in life, really. An awesome card was also included:

Um.. GCSEs have been quite a big part of my life lately. I'm getting the options form four days from now, and I already know that I've been chosen to do triple science, so that's cool. I don't know, though, I just want to get it all sorted now.

That's literally just about it. These past 2 weeks or so have flown by and I do not understand how it is now less than 2 weeks until I go to see Elly and go to London. Nevertheless, I am very excited indeed. Until we meet again, I suppose. I just thought I should update and all.

So forget this cruel world, where I belong

Today I sacrificed sleep to walk along the cliffs at twenty past six in the morning, and watch the sunrise. I'd say it was worth it, along with the excessive amounts of Red Bull I'm now having to consume to simply stay awake.

As I said, most definitely worth it. Unfortunately,
my phone's battery ran out before the sun actually
made an appearance from below the horizon.
The past few days were originally going to be my time to revise for a science mock exam at the beginning of next week. That didn't exactly go to plan.

On Monday, I finished 9x13 of Supernatural, and now I actually have to wait for new episodes, as opposed to binge-watching a whole series within two days. On Tuesday, I don't think I really did anything at all. And on Wednesday, I went to Newcastle.

I ended up buying three vinyl records: For Emma, Forever Ago by Bon Iver, The Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd and the new album, So Long, See You Tomorrow, by Bombay Bicycle Club. Really, it was worth the money. They're all amazing.

And whilst in Newcastle, I found these beautiful semi acoustic Gretsch guitars.

But they're approximately £700 each.
Well, one can always dream.

On Thursday, I did the most productive thing I've done all week: sort out my documents and pictures on my laptop. This may not sound such a bad thing, but I had more than one hundred files all named things such as 'hjfbofij' and 'i n mfospo'. I hope you now get the idea. It took more than an hour and a half to go through them all.

And now it is Friday. It's been a relatively okay week so far, but by no means productive, and so I am now going to have to cram a buttload of revision into one weekend, which is never good.

Woah, careful with them editing skills there.
Ahh, look, it's me and my slightly Neil Perry inspired outfit.

These are from my last morning walk, from the end of August, I believe.
